Advisory & Mentorship
How We Work
We engage in a limited number of advisory relationships at any given time to ensure focus, alignment, and high-quality execution. Our work includes strategic guidance and decision-making support, venture development and positioning, and hands-on mentorship grounded in real-world application.
Where appropriate, we facilitate introductions to mentored leadership opportunities within aligned ventures. This model is built on long-term engagement, shared vision, and disciplined execution.
For those serious about building, leading, and growing within early-stage environments, the Circle provides a structured and thoughtful pathway forward—with the right support, relationships, and perspective.
Engagement is selective and based on alignment, intent, and long-term commitment.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
ETHAN H. LOVELACE-KENT
I work with a select group of early-stage founders and venture builders committed to turning ideas into real, scalable opportunities.
I was raised between the Monterey Peninsula and Silicon Valley, growing up around builders, operators, and leaders shaping companies at every stage. That environment gave me early exposure to how ventures are actually formed—how ideas evolve, how networks matter, and how the right people, aligned at the right time, can bring something meaningful into existence.
My background spans business development, incubation, and venture connections across nonprofit, corporate, and real estate sectors. I have led teams, built programs, and helped create the conditions for growth—tripling client bases, developing scalable initiatives, and establishing early-stage pipelines between founders, advisors, and capital networks.
I am educated through Oxford University (PPE), with additional coursework from Stanford and the University of London focused on venture creation, bootstrapping, funding, and incubation, alongside policy and political economy. This foundation shapes how I approach building—not just from a business standpoint, but from a broader perspective of systems, incentives, and long-term impact.
Through this experience, I’ve learned that success is not just about having a strong idea—it is about alignment, execution, and surrounding yourself with the right people. My advisory centers on strategy, positioning, and disciplined decision-making, paired with hands-on mentorship throughout the build process. I also facilitate access to the right people, resources, and next steps—ensuring each venture is developed with clarity, alignment, and long-term potential.
Beyond work, I value an active and engaged life—whether that is body surfing along the California coast, fencing, downhill skiing, sailing, or spending time in the arts and community. That balance of discipline, creativity, and environment continues to shape how I build and how I work with others.
At its core, The Founders Circle is built on a simple idea: bring the right people together, align them around meaningful opportunities, and create something that lasts.
